David Reed has worked for 35 years in environmental and economic development programs in Africa, Latin America and Asia at both grassroots and managerial levels. He has published numerous books on the complex relationships linking economic growth, environmental sustainability and national security. He received master’s and doctoral degrees from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Reed is also a recognized sculptor and mapmaker in his own right.
